It's easy to adjust the shifter. Also if you do not turn any of the rod ends on the shifter rods it shouldn't require any readjustment.

Hurst Shifter. i don't believe so. TWM is the only one i've seen that has a short for the LS/LT. No it will not. But a 2000-2005 Chevy Cavalier Short shifter will work.
